 Perma-Grit tools

Flat true, Sanding Block, also known as a Wing Block. COARSE UK 180 Grit one side and FINE UK 320 Grit on the opposite side.  Block length approx. 560 x 52 mm (22") Perfect for sanding leading and trailing edges, wing dihedrals. Block sand in large areas. Neck dressing of guitars and other musical instruments. 

 
The block is extruded aluminium, which is then anodized so that is clean to work with.  The block is light and easy to use.  All of our flat blocks will sand at a perfect 90-degree angle when laid on their edge.  The cutting face is Perma Grits tungsten carbide gritted sheets, which are held in place with industrial strength, very thin double-sided tape.

Larger sizes are available, please contact us to discuss your requirements.  The longest we have made is a 66"

Perma-Grit® Tools will cut:-  All Woods, Glass Fibre, Carbon Fibre, Kevlar, Plexiglas, Lexan, Perspex, Acrylics, Plastics, Polystyrene, Brass, Copper, Aluminium, Ceramics, Stone, Horn, Antler etc.


COARSE grit is approx. equivalent to UK 180 / US 60 sandpaper
FINE grit is approx. equivalent to UK 320 / US 120 sandpaper.
